Kendama unites worlds and Boo Johnson is a professional skateboarder for DGK, Grizzly Grip Tape, Diamond Supply Co, Ethika, Remind Insoles, Bones Wheels, Thrasher Mag, Weedmaps and Raw Papers. In addition, he owns the Pharmacy Skate Shop in Long Beach, California and has his own clothing brand Just Have Fun. Reed Stark knew Boo in the past and showed him kendama at Coachella 2017, but not everyone immediately falls in love with the game. At the 2018 X Minneapolis Games, Reed taught him how to do an earthturn and it was over. The absolute joy Boo had at the time proved to Reed and everyone else at Sweets that he would be a great candidate for a signature piece of kendama.
