Although in our country longboards and cruisers do not have the same appeal as the usual popsicle shaped skateboards that you find in skateparks, streets and competitions, they still have very loyal and selective followers who are always looking for the highest standards. But what is exactly a longboard and a cruiser and how different is it from a skateboard? The difference between a longboard, a cruiser and a skateboard is due to the shape of the deck, the trucks and the wheels. Longboards are usually larger in size, have various shapes and usually a curved surface at the possible points of contact with the wheels (the so-called wheel wells), larger trucks, softer and significantly larger and wider wheels and can handle higher speeds. Cruisers on the other hand are usually smaller than longboards and a bit wider than skateboards, however they have an easy going set up, they are more user friendly, they larger footspace, soft and large wheels. Often called ATV's (all terrain vehicles), they require less technical expertise and are suitable for all ages. The RideOnShop™ team is here to help you find the right product for your needs.
