Creature represents the darker side of skateboarding with graphics as if they came from horror movies. Founded in 1994 by former Santa Monica Airlines team manager Jason Adams, Barket Barrett, Darren Navarrette and artist Russ Pope. They then formed Scarecrow Skateboards in 1995 and Creature remained on the ice for 5 years. Then in early 2000 the NHS Distribution company that managed the Santa Cruz, Independent Trucks and OJ Wheels brands revived Creature and installed it in the world of skateboarding as the mother of transition skateboarding as their decks are the widest on the market. If we take into account the Creature team that includes the giants of the transition such as Chris Russel, Jimmy Wilkins, Taylor Bingaman, Truman Hooker, Willis Kimbel and Livingston Stu Graham. However, he is equally loved by ramp fans worldwide as well as by street skateboarind fans who throw in the mix with members such as David Gravette, Al Partenan and alround skateboarder Milton Martinez. Today Creature has over 20 professional riders in its team.
