MONTANA CRACKLE 400ml

CRACKLE EFFECT for the special crackle look (e.g. for a vintage or used look). Prior coating of your object is necessary with Montana or MTN 94 spraypaints (we recommend a thick base coat to achieve stronger effect). Allow at least 45 minutes but no more than 24 hours drying time for the base coat before applying the CRACKLE effect (drying time may vary due to temperature, humidity and coating thickness). Apply spray strokes from left to right in a crossing motion (cross coat) for best results. After extensive application of CRACKLE Effect to the primer area, the aging/crackle effect will begin to appear. CRACKLE spray is high coverage and can be fully covered when dry and hardened (after 24 hours) with Montana ACRYLIC markers as well as regular acrylic paints. For application on polystyrene/Styrofoam, priming with montana primer is required (make sure to seal the surface completely). The color appears on the donut of the spray can.

USE: The recommended working temperature is between +10°C and +25°C. During application, protect object and surrounding area from spray mist. The surfaces must be dry, clean of dust, oil and rust before applying the varnish. Shake well for 2-3 minutes upside down to benefit from gravity. Remove the safety ring by removing the nozzle and turning the container upside down allowing it to fall out. To achieve greater cracking results, further application can be applied after 5 minutes. Always test the spray on an inconspicuous area to check the compatibility of the lacquer or paint.
